When I see reviews that appear to be motivated by the reader's inability to fully understand the book, rather than the quality of the book itself, I answer a resounding "No" to the question, Was this review helpful to you? Doing so suppresses the review in relevance, making it less likely for potential buyers to see that particular review. My small contribution to humanity.

Hear, hear!

I think the big reason negativity is so prevalent on the internet is the anonymity factor. Easy to shoot your mouth off when no one knows who you are so can't come to your house and punch you out for insulting them.

On the plus side, all that venting might be a good pressure release for all the pent-up anger in the world at those things which are out of our control.
