Great post and, I'm sure. great choices though I haven't read any of these books. I do however have three of them on my shelves ready to read soon primarily due to Maxine's excellent reviews of these books at her blog. The other two are on my wishlist.

I enjoy translated crime fiction too, though I am not nearly the aficionado that Maxine is (yet). I've been enjoying the different perspectives that shine through from people who live in places that have different histories, political structures and social make-ups than those which are fairly common to people who've grown up in English-speaking countries.

I came across this blog by accident, but having read the fantastic reviews I will now be purchaisng the Reunion as it sounds like a fantastic suspense thriller.
